Who we are
SnapCalc is a free online tools website focused on instant, private results. We build calculators and generators for health, finance, education, home projects, and creators — so you do not need an account or a long chat with an AI to get a clear number, schedule, or draft.
The project is run by a small independent team that cares about two things: correct formulas and plain-language explanations. Every core calculator is based on widely published methods (for example WHO BMI categories, Mifflin–St Jeor calories, reducing-balance EMI, US Navy body-fat circumferences, and standard GPA credit weighting). We explain those methods on each tool page so you can verify the math yourself.
Why SnapCalc was created
People already search for BMI, EMI, take-home salary, GPA, and air-fryer conversions every day. Many results are either ad-heavy, vague, or hide the formula behind a black box. We wanted a site where you can:
- Get an answer in seconds without signup
- See the formula and a worked example with real numbers
- Keep sensitive inputs in your browser whenever possible

That is why each major tool page includes how-to steps, limitations, FAQs, and related links — not only a form.

How our tools work (expertise & method)
Most calculators run in your browser using JavaScript implementations of standard formulas. That keeps results fast and means we do not need your height, salary, or password to live on our servers for the calculation itself. Where a tool is an estimate (taxes, body fat, crack time), we say so clearly and point you to professionals when decisions matter.
Content on tool pages is structured so you can learn the concept, not only click Calculate: what the metric means, how the formula works, common mistakes, and FAQs with concrete examples. We update pages when we improve accuracy, clarity, or unit handling.
Privacy
We do not sell your calculator inputs. Optional contact messages and email subscriptions are stored so we can reply or send useful updates. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
